Some of you will have received this notice already because you are on the Bella Luna mailing list, but I thought I'd post it here as well. I have known Sarah for a number of years (she used to homeschool her children - some of you will remember her from the old WE-HS list) and am really excited that she is taking over Bella Luna. We have had a few interesting conversations about working together on various projects and we will let you know what those are as things develop! I am excited to announce that Bella Luna Toys has been sold and transferred to Sarah Baldwin and will be moving operations from California to Maine this month!
Sarah is a veteran Waldorf early childhood teacher with a master’s degree in Waldorf education. She is the author of Nurturing Children and Families, a guide for leaders of Waldorf parent/toddler playgroups. After teaching parent/child, nursery and kindergarten classes at the Ashwood Waldorf School in Rockport, ME over the past ten years, Sarah is excited to serve families in this new capacity – by providing the highest quality natural playthings and products to families, teachers and homeschoolers, and by offering her considerable expertise and knowledge to parents.
Sarah reports, “I am thrilled to be undertaking this new venture! In addition to finding fully stocked inventory and the introduction of new products in the coming weeks, you will also discover new features on the site, such as articles on child development, parenting, and play, and new links to valuable resources.
