I've never been to a country fair. Sound wonderful!

Donna, your fair sounds great! I very much hear what you are saying about the observation of health depleting foods at these events. We are in Australia and a few weekends ago when we picnicked at the beach for Fathers Day with some family friends I was again just horrified to see a child sitting with his parents, eating a commercial iceblock with red colouring and sugar and flavours and preservatives dripping all down his arm. I made comment to a family friend who is a naturopath that perhaps one day soon things like that would loose their popularity as we have a wider awakening to the importance of health in general - for everyone - but in particular to our children's health and eating habits we model and instill in them. She commented that unfortunately people that have the understanding we have and the passion to nurture children with the best whole and organic food we possibly can to ensure their bodies develop into strong, healthy beings, was still a minority. However, even though we are still the minority, we feel so proud to be offering such a nourishing experience for our daughter and we can only hope that our example will inspire others to awaken to the consciousness that is optimal health.

I hope you had a great fair and thank you so much for your offering. The information on your site and this blog is amazing. We are looking at the early childhood reference material you have to use in the home with our daughter. Your work looks great and very inspiring. Love and Light xxx
