Hi Donna,
Thank you for a wonderful blog on the Epiphany ceremony. It is so true that reverence is inspired from a meaningfully repeated ritual. In our home we do the ritual of the Legend of the Christ Child and the Cave with the Golden Star (from Living A Spiritual Year)by candlelight for the 12 nights and my daughters (age 10 and 12) still reverently agree each night when asked if they would like to help the Christ child make the golden star in the heart of the earth much brighter. And we still use with reverence the advent candle holder made of lovely ascending hardwood circles that my father made for me when I was 7.

Absolutely beautiful. Do you know the route to find the person who can tell you about a Christian Community in your city? I've gotten as far as Chicago being the closest church, but I would like to find out if there is plans to try to have one in my city. I've explored the Christian Community's website and it seems like just what I am looking for to enrich what we do at home.
Thanks.

Hi Christine,

Can you email me off-blog with your question? I don't want to turn this post into a discussion about the Christian Community - though I am happy to "field" questions about the Church privately!
Thanks!
